Art Classes for Kids & Teens

This 8-week character design and comic creation course teaches students visual story telling, basic figure drawing, expressions and posing, stylization and page layout. Students will learn about the design process of taking sketches and thumbnails to final artwork. This dynamic class is great for beginners to intermediate and taught by a professional and published illustrator.

Young artists will discover the joy of making art while experimenting with a wide variety of materials and techniques. Students will learn about blending colors, using line, shapes, patterns and textures in creative ways. From painting and drawing to collage and clay, each class is filled with lessons designed to spark creativity, build confidence and teach foundational art skills.

In this engaging class, students will be introduced to essential art principles. This course focuses on foundational skills like shading, blending, coloring, and perspective while applying different techniques and various materials.
